Sandy Lane is the title sponsor of one of the most prestigious events on the international horse racing calendar, the Sandy Lane Barbados Gold Cup. This event has become one of the most anticipated race days not only in Barbados, but throughout the world.
An enthusiastic crowd surrounded the Garrison Savannah Racetrack to witness a series of exciting races which featured local and international horses and jockeys. The spectacular annual opening parade was a favourite amongst patrons featuring a cast of colourful dancers and stilt men. We congratulate Celestial Storm, owned by Roger Parravicino and team, on winning the 2019 Sandy Lane Barbados Gold Cup in spectacular fashion!
