Meet our Star of The Year!

Whether it’s a routine treatment or an emergency repair, you can count on our Engineering Department day or night to make sure the entire property looks, feels and functions just right! Our Star of The Year, Marlon King, who has been with us for now 11 years, is a team member that can truly get lost in his work. He can be called on at any hour, even when he is off duty to return to the hotel to provide assistance whenever needed. Marlon managed the construction of our new padel tennis courts within a tight deadline to ensure they were ready for the Festive season. In addition, he also initiated the upgrade of the hotel’s new preventative maintenance program. It’s all part of Marlon’s commitment to excellence and desire to constantly improve himself and the resort. During his downtime, this busy technician enjoys the beautiful beaches of Barbados, shopping and relaxing with friends.
